Nick de Bois

A comment item about Tory MP Nick de Bois last week pointed out that he remained a director of graphic design company Rapier Group even though he had said he would give up the post if elected and that he had received £87,000 as a result. In fact he received £13,000 in allowances.

MRSA

An article in Good Health yesterday stated that a study by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine had found 1,000 types of germs on mobile phone handsets, including MRSA.

In fact the study found 1,000 colonies of bacteria, not 1,000 different types, and it was the bacterium which can mutate into MRSA, rather than MRSA itself, which was found.
